Junior Gardener's Club

The Junior Gardener’s Club is a FREE introductory course for children ages 4 to 16 that takes place in our greenhouse on the first Saturday of every month (except during March-May) from 10 to 11am. Our goal is to teach children to make a chomping good difference in their natural Lousiana environment. The classes involve interactive lessons ranging from topics on soil, water and bugs to safety, flowers, edibles, and native verses invasive plants. We offer a themed scavenger hunt nearly every event with plant/garden-related prizes. It’s always a blast to learn alongside our mascot Jeff the Gator! We hope you join us!

We do require a signed permission form. Parents need to stay on the property for children 12 and under. If you have any questions please ask.
